Katherine Moffett (née Irwin) is an artist and designer working in New York City's Chinatown. Researching her subjects with a student-of-life sensibility, Katherine approaches her drawings of people, animals, and cultural moments with curiosity and empathy. Her drawings are in the private collections of Julianne Moore, Tom Ford, and Henry Kissinger.
Simplicity, delight, and classic beauty, the three graces of ancient mythology, are the precepts that guide her work in both fine arts and design. After training at the School of Visual Arts, Katherine has designed graphic identities and packaging for fashion and beauty brands. Katherine lives in Cooper Square with her husband, Thomas and cat, Harrison.
