Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks released one album together in 1973 before joining Fleetwood Mac. They had gone to the same high school, Menlo-Atherton High School in Atherton, California, south of San Francisco.
The album did not sell well. Disheartened, Nicks and Buckingham would spend much of the rest of 1973 continuing to work outside of the music industry to pay rent, Stevie waitressing, while Lindsey kept working on music. Luckily Mick Fleetwood would hear the album in 1974 and be impressed by Lindsey's guitar-playing.
